1. Who We Are
OOF is a car meet community mobile application. When we say "OOF," "we," "us," or "our," we mean the OOF app and its operators. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at oof.support@gmail.com.
2. What Information We Collect
A. Information you provide directly
- Account credentials: email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication โ we never see your raw password)
- Profile information: username and city
- Car information: year, make, model, horsepower, torque, engine, drivetrain, 0-60 time, and modifications
- Photos: profile photo and car photo (selected from your camera roll or taken with your camera)
- Card style preferences: background color, outline color, aura style
- Meet information: meet title, location, date and time, description, and car types when you create a meet
B. Information generated through your activity
- OOF ID: a unique 6-character identifier assigned to your account
- Network connections: the users you are connected with
- Meet activity: meets you have hosted, meets you have attended, and attendee lists
- Respect score: a running total of Respect points received from other users at meets
- Respect interactions: records of which users gave Respect to which users at each specific meet, used to enforce per-meet limits and prevent duplicate submissions
- Username change history: timestamps of when you last changed your username, used to enforce the 30-day cooldown
C. Information collected automatically
- Location data: when you post a meet, you select a location on a map. We store the place name and coordinates of that location as part of the meet record. We do not continuously track your device location in the background.
- Camera access: used only when you choose to take a photo or scan a QR code. We do not access your camera without your explicit action.
- Photo library access: used only when you choose to select a photo for your profile or car. We do not scan or upload your photo library.
D. Information we will collect in the future (not yet active)
- Push notification tokens: when push notifications are enabled, we will store a device token to deliver notifications. This policy will be updated before that feature launches.
